The Certificate of election awarded to the newly elected mayor of Stari Grad Sarajevo Municipality
Sarajevo, 17.11.2023 – After the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the results of the early elections for the mayor of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, held on October 29, 2023 the president of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Suad Arnautović has today handed over the Certificate of Election to the newly elected mayor Irfan Čengić.
In accordance with Article 14.3 paragraph (4) of the BiH Election Law, the mandate of members of bodies elected at early elections lasts until the expiration of the current mandate of bodies elected at regular elections.
We remind you that the elected officials are obliged to electronically enter data into the Asset Declaration form on the BiH CEC's website within 30 days from the date of publication of the confirmed results in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The elected official submits the completed declaration form to the Central Election Commission of BiH in electronic form, using the application, and then the asset declaration form is printed and signed and submitted to the Central Election Commission of BiH for verification. This procedure ends the cycle of submitting data to the asset declaration form.
