Sarajevo, 14 May 2026 – At today’s session, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision determining the list of 11,998 candidates for presidents and deputy presidents of polling station committees.
In consultation with the election commissions of the basic constituencies, and following the completion of training, certification and evaluation, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will appoint successful candidates and determine their duties and polling stations for the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for 4 October 2026.
Since 2024, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has already established a list of 11,131 candidates who met all general and special criteria, while, following the publication of the public call this year, an additional 867 candidates met the general and special criteria. Consequently, the established list now contains 11,998 candidates for presidents and deputy presidents of polling station committees.
