Early Elections for the Mayor of the Municipality of Vareš Held
Sarajevo, 15 February 2026 – Early elections for the Mayor of the Municipality of Vareš were held today.
Polling stations closed at 19:00 hours.
A total of 8,078 voters were registered for the early elections for the Mayor of the Municipality of Vareš, including 67 voters registered to vote by mail from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At 20 regular polling stations, 3,469 voters, or 43.30%, cast their ballots.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will publish the first preliminary results of the early elections for the Mayor of the Municipality of Vareš this evening by 22:30 hours on its website, www.izbori.ba.
