Repeat Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska to Be Held on Sunday
Sarajevo, 06 February 2026 – In accordance with the Instruction on the deadlines for electoral activities for holding the repeat early elections for the President of Republika Srpska scheduled for Sunday, 08 February 2026, the delivery of election materials to the election commissions in 17 basic constituencies, where repeat elections will be held at 136 polling stations, is planned for today.
Polling stations will be open from 07:00 to 19:00 hours.
A total of 84,474 voters are entitled to vote in the repeat early elections for the President of Republika Srpska.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina calls upon all participants in the electoral process to contribute to ensuring that the repeat elections for the President of Republika Srpska are conducted in accordance with the law and democratic standards, and in particular calls upon the election administration to strictly apply the provisions of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the instructions of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On the day of the repeat elections, Sunday, 08 February 2026, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will inform the public throughout the day about the course of the electoral process through press releases, including information on the opening of polling stations and voter turnout, and plans to publish the first preliminary results by 22:30 hours on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the existing election results application.
