Appointment of Members of Polling Station Committees – Repeat Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska
SARAJEVO, 26 January 2026 – At today’s session, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, inter alia, adopted the Instruction on Amendments to the Instruction on the Procedure for the Conduct of the Repeat Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska at 136 polling stations in 17 basic constituencies and the Instruction on Amendments to the Instruction on the deadlines for electoral activities for holding the repeat early elections for the President of Republika Srpska, in order to enable political subjects that have the right to propose candidates to submit an additional list of proposals for the appointment of members/deputy members of polling station committees in basic constituencies in which the election commission is not in a position to appoint members/deputy members of polling station committees from the list of proposals submitted by political subjects.
Due to the above, the deadline within which election commissions are required to appoint members of polling station committees for the repeat early elections for the President of Republika Srpska has been extended until 30 January 2026.
The aforementioned acts will be available to the public tomorrow on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
