Determined Results of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska
Sarajevo, 15 December 2025 – At its 76th (urgent) session held on 15 December 2025, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Decision on the determination and publication of the results of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska.
The Decision on the determination and publication of the results of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska shall enter into force on the day of its adoption and shall be published on 15 December 2025 after 5:00 p.m. on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, www.izbori.ba. It shall be deemed that, on the day of publication, it has been delivered to all participants in the electoral process.
Requests for a recount of ballots shall be submitted to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina within 72 hours from the day on which the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina published the determined election results.
Pursuant to Article 6.9, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an appeal against the Decision on the determination and publication of the results of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska may be filed, through the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within two days from the day of publication of the decision on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Requests for a recount of ballots, objections to the published results, and appeals against the Decision on the determination and publication of the results of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska shall be submitted exclusively by fax to the number 033/251-329, by electronic mail to the e-mail address [email protected], or in person at the headquarters of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Danijela Ozme str. No 7).
The procedure for submitting requests for a recount of ballots is prescribed by the provisions of Article 5.30 of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Following the determination of the results of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska, at the same session, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ex officio, ordered a recount at several polling stations in Laktaši, Doboj, Zvornik, Bratunac, Gacko and Bileća. The Order will be published on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, www.izbori.ba.
The Main Counting Center will commence activities pursuant to the said Order tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Accredited observers for the Main Counting Center, candidates of political parties appearing on the ballot, members of polling committees from polling stations subject to recount, as well as election observers accredited for those electoral units, may be present during the counting, with the note that only one election observer may be present per counting table.
