Sarajevo, September 22, 2025 – We inform the public in Bosnia and Herzegovina that BAM 6,460,000.00 has been secured for the implementation of the upcoming early elections for the President of Republika Srpska from the ranks of the Serb people, scheduled for Sunday, November 23 of this year.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina today adopted the Instruction on deadlines for electoral activities for holding the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska, and the deadlines run from September 25, 2025.

Applications for certification to participate in the elections shall be submitted by political parties and independent candidates to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina no later than five (5) days from the date of application of this Instruction, i.e., from September 25 to 29, 2025, by 16:00 hours.

Applications for certification to participate in the elections shall be submitted by coalitions to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina by October 7, 2025, by 16:00 hours, while applications for candidates for the President of Republika Srpska shall be submitted by the certified political entity to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina by October 14, 2025, by 16:00 hours.

The final deadline for registration of new voters voting from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina in the elections is October 14, 2025, by 24:00 hours.

The Instruction on deadlines for electoral activities for holding the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska will be made available to the public on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH.

Only today, after the financial funds were secured, have the conditions been met for the Central Election Commission of BiH to initiate the procedures for the necessary public procurements for the implementation of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska. At today’s session, the Procurement Plan of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of the Early Elections for the President of Republika Srpska 2025 was adopted. In accordance with the plan, decisions were also adopted on the procurement of services for renting computer and electronic equipment, printing and packaging of electoral material, postal delivery of electoral material, transportation of electoral material, leasing of space for the accommodation of the Main Counting Center, and procurement of small office supplies and stationery for polling stations and packaging material.
