Mandatory education of municipal/city election commissions’ members completed
Sarajevo, 09.02.2024 – The mandatory education of members of municipal/city election commissions, which began on January 29, 2024, was completed today. With the support of the OSCE Mission in BiH, this activity is carried out by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with Article 2.2 paragraph (5) of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sessions were organized in Bihać, Banja Luka, Teslić, Bijeljina, Mostar and Sarajevo.
The focus of the education was on the organization of the election commission's work on the Election Day, with an emphasis on the process of collecting forms, entering election results and packing election materials. The education was interactive aimed at familiarization with possible problems in the work of the election administration. Discussions and comments during these 10 days of education will be considered by the BiH Central Election Commission when updating the by-laws, which to follow in the coming period.
Education of election administration is a regular activity that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina carries out continuously.
