The mandatory education of the members of the municipal/city election commissions has started
Bihać, 29.01.2024 – The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will in accordance with Article 2.2 paragraph (5) of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of the OSCE Mission in BiH, organize mandatory education of the members of municipal/city election commissions in the period from January 29 to February 9, 2024. The first education is organized today in Bihać, followed by Banja Luka, Teslić, Bijeljina, Mostar and Sarajevo.
The topic of the education is: "Organization of the election commission's work on election day, and collection of forms and entry of election results". The sessions are interactive, where the members of the municipal/city election commissions will have the opportunity to present problems in their work through special analyses of the municipal/city election commissions’ organization of the work. Discussions and comments during these 10 days of education will be considered by the BiH Central Election Commission when updating the by-laws, which will be done in the upcoming period.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina continuously conducts mandatory education of the election administration and pays special attention to this activity.
