Ambassador Johann Sattler visited the BiH Central Election Commission
Sarajevo, 16.01.2024 - Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Special Representative of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E. Ambassador Johann Sattler visited the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, where he met with the president, Dr. Irena Hadžiabdić.
The interlocutors discussed the upcoming activities of the Central Election Commission of BiH with a special focus on the implementation and organization of the Local Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024.
The previous cooperation between the Central Electoral Commission of BiH and the EU Delegation to BiH was evaluated as very good, the continuation of cooperation and support to the Central Electoral Commission of BiH was announced and its constructive and proactive role in the reform of the electoral legislation of BiH was highlighted.
Ambassador Sattler wished successful work to Dr. Hadžiabdić, who assumed the position of President of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 1, 2024.
