Certificates of election handed over to the newly elected city/municipal mayors

Sarajevo, 28.02.2023- The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina had on February 24, 2023 passed the Decision confirming the results of the early elections for the mayors of the cities of Bihać, Tuzla, Srebrenik and Zvornik, and for the mayors of the municipalities of Bratunac and Vogošća held on February 5, 2023.

 

a) Elvedin Sedić, candidate of the political subject Pomak-Pokret for a modern and active Krajina, was elected mayor of Bihać.

 

b) Zijad Lugavić, candidate of the political subject SDP-Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was elected mayor of Tuzla.

 

c) Adnan Bjelic, candidate of the political subject United (NIP-NS-SDP), was elected mayor of Srebrenik.

 

d) Bojan Ivanović, candidate of the political subject Alliance of Independent Social Democrats-SNSD-Milorad Dodik, was elected mayor of the City of Zvornik.

 

e) Lazar Prodanović, the candidate of the political subject Alliance of Independent Social Democrats-SNSD-Milorad Dodik, was elected mayor of Bratunac Municipality.

 

f) Migdad Hasanović, the candidate of the political subject SDA-Party of Democratic Action, was elected mayor of Vogošća Municipality.

 

The Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered Certificates of election to the mayors of Bihać, Srebrenik, Zvornik and the mayors of Bratunac and Vogošće today, while the Certificate of election was handed over to the mayor of Tuzla yesterday.

 

The newly-elected officials are obliged, within 30 days from the date of publication of the confirmed results in the Official Gazette of BiH, to electronically enter data into the Asset Declaration form through the application available on the website of the Central Election Commission. The elected official submits the completed asset declaration form to the Central Election Commission of BiH in electronic form, for which the online application is used, and then the asset declaration form is printed and signed and submitted to the Central Election Commission of BiH for verification. The cycle of submitting the data in the asset declaration form is therewith completed.

Furthermore, the elected officials are to complete the Statement on acceptance/rejection of the mandate and the Note on receipt of the certificate, and they must be submitted to the registry office of the Central Election Commission of BiH.
