Lecture for students of the Faculty of the University of Zenica

Sarajevo, 15.12.2022 – The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina is always happy to organize appropriate events for young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina who want to gain knowledge and experience concerning the election system and electoral process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

An interactive lecture was held today in the Education Center of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina for a group of 30 students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, led by associate professor and head of the Department of State and International Public Law Prof. Dr. Maša Alijević.

The topic of the lecture was "Elections: legislation, process, institutions". The introductory presentation was given by Dr. Irena Hadžiabdić, member of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Marijana Žuljević, head of the Elections Department, presented the characteristics of the election system and process in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This was also an opportunity for the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to promote the importance of youth participation in elections.

In previous years, visits to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina were organized for students from Mostar, Sarajevo and Zenica, as well as for youth associations from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
