Sarajevo, 8 October 2026 – At its session held today, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision annulling the 2026 General Elections held on 4 October 2026 at polling station 200C019-Bukvik in constituency 200C, Brčko District of BiH.
On Election Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina, electoral irregularities occurred at polling station 200C019 in Brčko District of BiH, as voters from Republika Srpska were not provided with a complete set of ballot papers; namely, the ballot paper for electoral level 522 – Parliamentary Assembly of BiH was missing. Consequently, voters with citizenship of Republika Srpska were unable to exercise their right to vote for the aforementioned electoral level, indicating violations of the rules governing the electoral process and electoral rights at the polling station.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will adopt a Decision calling repeat elections at polling station 200C019 after the Decision on annulling the elections becomes final.
