Stjepan Mikić, member of the BiH CEC resigned
The BiH Central Election Commission has yesterday, 13th May 2020, received a letter of resignation to the position of the BiH Central Election Commission of Mr. Stjepan Mikić and a request to terminate the employment due to retirement.
The letter of Mr. Stjepan Mikić, member of the BiH CEC, has been today, 14th May 2020, forwarded to the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly for further action.
Article 2.6a, paragraph (2) of the BiH Election Law sets forth that the document confirming the selection, appointment and termination of the mandate of a member of the Central Election Commission of BiH is issued by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. Until such time, Mr. Stjepan Mikić will continue performing his duties as the member of the BiH CEC, and will participate in the work of the BiH CEC and the decision-making process in the full capacity.
