Certification of candidates’ lists and candidates for participation at the 2020 Local Elections in the City of Mostar
The BiH Central Election Commission has at its 60th (urgent) session held on October 2, 2020 has considered the Report on verification of candidates’ lists and candidates for participation in the 2020 Local Election for the City Council of the City of Mostar and has started the process of certification of candidates’ lists and candidates that meet the statutory requirements. The BiH CEC has received 63 candidates’ lists containing 387 candidates.
The BiH CEC has today certified 48 candidates’ list that meet statutory requirements, while 15 candidates’ lists were found to contain shortcomings.
Political subjects whose candidates’ lists were found containing shortcomings will be informed to remove the detected shortcoming within 5 (five) days, namely until Wednesday, October 7, 2020 by 16 hours. The removal of shortcomings by the given deadline must be recorded in the BiH CEC, and if received after the expiry of deadline the submission will be found untimely and therefore the BiH CEC advises personal submission of the documents for removal of shortcomings to the premises of the BiH CEC until October 7, 2020 by 16 hours.
