Voting material for the elections for Travnik and Foča (FBiH) mayors can be delivered through diplomatic and consular offices of BiH from certain countries

The Central Election Commission of BiH at its 38th session held on March 25, 2021 passed a Decision on determining the list of countries with which postal traffic is significantly hindered or interrupted and from which voters can deliver voting material through diplomatic and consular missions of BiH (that cover these countries), for early elections for the mayor of Travnik and the mayor of Foča (F BiH) scheduled for Sunday, April 11, 2021.

 

The decision establishes a list of countries in which postal traffic is extremely difficult or interrupted due to COVID-19, as well as overseas countries in which postal traffic is significantly hindered or interrupted, as follows:

 

  1. Australia
  2. Island
  3. Italy
  4. New Zealand and
  5. Spain

 

The Central Election Commission of BiH has also passed a Decision on the establishment of the Main Counting Center and appointment of the management of the Main Counting Center for early elections of Travnik and Foča (FBiH) mayors and a decision on appointment of Chief Controller, Deputy Controller, controller for processing, entry and confirmation of voting results and controller for transport, handling and storage of ballots and other election material in the early elections for the mayor of Travnik and the mayor of Foča (FBiH).

 

These decisions, as well as decisions on concluding and confirming the number of voters registered in the Central Voters’ Register for early elections oh mayors of Travnik and Foča (FBiH) as of midnight on March 22, 2021 will be published on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH.
