Sarajevo, 15.02.2019 – Early elections for the city mayor of the City of Doboj, City of Trebinje, mayor of municipality Bosansko Grahovo, mayor of municipality Bosanski Petrovac, mayor of municipality Bužim, mayor of municipality Domaljevac-Šamac, mayor of municipality Drvar, mayor of municipality Kakanj and mayor of municipality Ribnik will be held on Sunday, 17.02.2019.

All activities concerning preparation and organization of early elections have been implemented in line with earlier set deadlines and everything is ready for the Election Day to be completed without any problems.

A total of 321 polling stations will be opened from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the early elections, and 20 mobile teams have been established.

Election silence commences tomorrow, 16.02.2019 at 7 a.m. and lasts until the closing of the polling stations on Sunday, 17.02.2019 at 7 p.m.

There are 30 candidates on the ballots for the early election of municipal/city mayors in nine municipalities/cities.

The BiH Central Election Commission has accredited 264 observers of the citizens’ associations for the early elections of municipal/city mayors in nine municipalities/cities.

The total cost of elections is around 120.000 KM, whereof 44.000 KM was paid for the services of registered mail delivery to the voters voting by mail.
