Issuance of Mandate Confirmation Certificates to the Mayors/Municipal Mayors Elected in the 2024 Local Elections

Sarajevo, 13 November 2024 – After the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the results of the 2024 Local Elections on 5 November 2024, and following the publication of these results in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the conditions have been met for the issuance of Mandate Confirmation Certificates to the newly elected mayors/municipal mayors. The mayors/municipal mayors will be able to collect the Mandate Confirmation Certificates for themselves, as well as for the elected city/municipal councillors, or ensure that an authorized representative of the city/municipality collects the certificates on their behalf.

The issuance of Mandate Confirmation Certificates to the newly elected mayors/municipal mayors will take place on 14, 15, and 18 November 2024, at the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located at Danijela Ozme Street No. 7, within the premises of the Education Centre, between 10:30 and 13:00.

All cities/municipalities have received invitations with the specific dates for collecting the Mandate Confirmation Certificates.

It should be noted that the results of the 2024 Local Elections for Doboj, Bihać, Jablanica, Kiseljak, Prozor-Rama, Gacko, Foča, Čapljina, Konjic, and the City of Mostar have not yet been confirmed, as the conditions for their confirmation have not been met.
