Sarajevo, 24 October 2024 – It should be noted that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 22 October 2024, issued a Decision regarding the announcement and conduct of the 2024 Local Elections in the basic constituency of Jablanica. These elections are scheduled to take place on Sunday, 3 November 2024.

The Central Election Commission of BiH has adopted a specific Instruction regarding the voter identification and voting procedures in the postponed elections in Jablanica. According to this Instruction, voters whose personal identification documents have been destroyed due to a natural disaster may exercise their right to vote by presenting the identification form with a photograph (LK-O-I4) issued by the competent Ministry of Internal Affairs. To obtain the identification form with a photograph (LK-O-I4), it is essential for the voter to personally approach the relevant Ministry of Internal Affairs and report the destruction of their identification documents. Upon this report, the identification form LK-O-I4 will be issued.

For the purposes of facilitating voting for voters at polling station 126A013 (Donja Jablanica), the Election Commission of the basic constituency of Jablanica shall designate a new location for the polling station where voters can exercise their voting rights. The Commission will notify voters accordingly.

Additionally, the Central Election Commission of BiH has appointed 2 coordinators to represent the Central Election Commission of BiH in coordinating and overseeing the postponed elections in the basic constituency of Jablanica.
