Ambassador of Romania to BiH and the President of BiH CEC: Transparency of electoral process is of paramount importance
SARAJEVO, 21 August 2024 – The President of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Irena Hadžiabdić, met His Excellency Anton Pacuretu, the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina, today in Sarajevo. The main topic of their meeting was the upcoming 2024Local Elections.
Dr. Hadžiabdić informed the Ambassador about the preparations for the elections, highlighting the challenges faced by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its daily work. On the other hand, Ambassador Pacuretu emphasized the importance of transparency and efficiency in the electoral process and expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation with the Central Election Commission so far.
Expressing gratitude for the ongoing interest and support, the President of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina highlighted the importance of international cooperation in ensuring fair and free elections, as well as in overcoming the challenges faced by the institution.
