Paper for printing of ballots transported from Slovenia to BiH

Sarajevo, 09.08.2024 – The paper for printing of ballots for the local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, scheduled for October 6, 2024, was transported today from Slovenia through the border crossing in Bosanski Brod to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The paper, distributed across four trucks, is accompanied by police, security personnel from the company “C.P.A.” d.o.o., and an escort from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has been transported to Kalesija, where it will be received by the company responsible for printing of the ballots.

We would like to remind you that the Framework Agreement for the procurement of ballot printing and packaging services for the 2024 Local Elections was awarded to “C.P.A.” d.o.o., located in Tojšići bb, Kalesija. The contract is valued at BAM 1.369.999 without VAT, or BAM 1.602.89,83 with VAT.

According to the operational plan, ballot printing is expected to begin next week. Priority will be given to printing and packaging the ballot packages for voters who vote by mail from abroad.
