Early elections for the city mayor of Živinice – Main information
Sarajevo, 26.05.2023- Early elections for the mayor of Živinice will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Polling stations open at 07:00 a.m. and close at 07:00 p.m.
Election silence begins 24 hours before the opening of the polling stations, i.e. at 07:00 in the morning on May 27 and lasts until the closing of the polls, i.e. until 07:00 p.m. on May 28.
A total of 5 political entities participate in the elections, namely 4 political parties and one independent candidate. The ballot contains the names of five candidates.
A total of 55,281 voters were registered in the Central Voters' Register, including data as of May 8, 2023 at midnight, for early elections in Živinice (regular 54,271, postal 991 and in person/absentee 19).
A total of 87 polling stations were formed. 5 mobile teams will work on the ground, two of which are in Živinice and one mobile team each in Doboj-Istok, Tuzla and Zenica.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has appointed two supervisors to oversee the legality of early elections for the mayor of Živinice, as well as coordination and timely reporting to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina on all relevant facts and circumstances.
