The order of political subjects on the ballot determined – 2023 Early Elections

Sarajevo, 29.12.2022 - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has today, at its 103rd session, and after the drawing of lots, adopted the Decision on determining the order of political subjects on the ballot for the early elections to be held on February 5, 2023. The determined order will be available to the public on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind you that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has yesterday conducted a draw to determine the order of political subjects on the ballot in line with the Instructions on the sequence of election activities for the conduct of Early Elections for the mayors of the cities of Bihać, Tuzla, Srebrenik and Zvornik and the mayors of the municipalities of Bratunac and Vogošća.

Furthermore, the Central Election Commission of BiH has today, after considering the Report on verification of the candidates proposed to participate in the Early Elections that will be held on February 5, 2023 certified 11 candidates' lists proposed by 5 political parties and one coalition. Previously, 7 independent candidates were certified to participate in the Early Elections in 6 municipalities/cities.

In accordance with the Instruction on the sequence of election activities for the conduct of Early Elections for the mayors of the cities of Bihać, Tuzla, Srebrenik and Zvornik and the mayors of the municipalities of Bratunac and Vogošća, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will publish the final lists of candidates in the official gazettes and on the website www.izbori.ba until January 16, 2023.

Early Elections for the mayors of the cities of Bihać, Tuzla, Srebrenik and Zvornik and the mayors of the municipalities of Bratunac and Vogošća will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
