Information for newly elected officials
Sarajevo, 09.11.2022 - The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina invites the members of the authorities elected at the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina held on October 2, 2022 who are currently holding other incompatible mandate in municipal councils/assemblies, city councils/assemblies or have the mandate of the municipal/city mayor to decide as soon as possible about the mandate they want to keep, i.e. if they accept or reject the newly won mandate.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will proceed with the allocation of replacement mandates immediately upon receipt of the Statement of Acceptance/Rejection of the Mandate or upon submission of the resignation for the previously won mandate, i.e. it will act in accordance with the BiH Election Law.
The Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has at today's 83rd session, among other things, awarded substitute mandates for individual government bodies on the basis of a statement of rejection of the mandate or a submitted resignation.
