Since the announcement of the General Elections in 2022, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has submitted 44 reports to the prosecutor's office

Since May 4, 2022 when the General Elections of 2022 were announced, the Central Election Commission of BiH forwarded 44 reports to the competent prosecutor's offices due to the grounded suspicion that a criminal offense had been committed.

The Central c Commission of BiH mainly received information from citizens, and this information related to abuses of OCV registration and voting by mail, voting by mobile team, alleged vote buying, and all it was submitted to the competent prosecutors' offices through reports.

Due to grounded suspicions of falsification of ballots, the Central Election Commission of BiH ex officio submitted reports to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

In the upcoming period, the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will analyze in detail all cases of irregularities within its jurisdiction.

For PSC and municipal/city election commissions for which liability is determined, misdemeanor proceedings will be initiated, fines imposed to the members for whom personal liability is determined, and they will be found illegible to be engaged in the election management bodies, and a report will be submitted to the competent prosecutor's office for those cases for in which there is a suspicion that a criminal offense was committed in connection with the election process.
