Registration of 10.749 voters in the excerpt from the CVR for out-of-country voting refused
Sarajevo, August 4, 2022– The BiH Central Election Commission has at its 37th session held on August 4, 2022 passed the Decision on determining and publicizing number of voters registered in the CVR for out-of-country voting for the 2022 General Elections. The decision defines that a total of 69.872 voters will be found on the excerpt from the CVR for out-of-country voting. The Central Election Commission of BiH publishes the list of voters registered to vote outside BiH on its website, taking into account the protection of personal data. The Central Election Commission of BiH publishes the list of voters for voting outside Bosnia and Herzegovina so that a voter who was registered without his knowledge, or against his will, would have the opportunity to file an appeal.
The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has at the same session passed a decision rejecting the registration of 10.749 voters in the excerpt from the Central Voter's Register for voting outside Bosnia and Herzegovina. The decision is published on the website, and in the annex to the decision is a list of persons whose applications for voting outside of BiH were rejected.
Appeals against the aforementioned decisions, which are published today, August 4, 2022 on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, can be filed to the Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina until Saturday, August 6, 2022 by midnight. Appeals can be sent by fax to the number +387 33 251 329, via the e-mail address [email protected] or in person at the headquarters of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 7 Danijela Ozme Street, Sarajevo. Reception desk for receipt of appeals in the BiH CEC will be working on Saturday, August 6, 2022 in the period from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Central Election Commission of BiH invites voters who submitted an application to vote outside of BiH to visit the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH and to check if their application was rejected and to use the possibility to file an appeal.
