The deadline for OCV registration expries tomorrow, July 19 at midnight
Sarajevo, July 18, 2022 – In line with the Instruction on deadlines and sequence of electoral activities for the 2022 General Election, which will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022, the deadline for submitting applications for voting outside BiH expires on July 19, 2022.
The Central Election Commission of BiH has been receiving applications from voters to vote outside BiH continuously since the application became operation, and so far 77,773 people have opened an account, and entry of the data is currently underway for 12,372 accounts, and all have the deadline by July 19, 2022 to complete the entry and upload documents, because failure to do so would mean they did not complete registration process and such applications will not be considered.
A total of 52, 429 applications have been processed, of which 46,394 applications meet the prescribed conditions, while 6,035 applications do not meet the conditions for now, and processing of 13,972 applications is pending.
Persons whose application does not meet the conditions have already been notified twice through e-mail by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina to rectify the deficiencies and they should do so by July 19, 2022 at midnight.
The Central Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina will send notices to persons whose applications have yet to be processed and might have deficiencies to rectify the deficiencies within the deadline (which may be after July 19).
Applications for voting outside Bosnia and Herzegovina can only be submitted electronically through the e-Izbori portal available on the website of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina or by fax to the following numbers: +387 33/251-333 and +387/33 251-334.
