Vedran Hadžović

Vedran Hadžović, Bachelor of Laws, was born on July 30, 1951 in Jablanica. He completed high school and the Faculty of Law in Sarajevo, where he also passed the judicial exam. From 1977 until 1978 he worked as a novice at the Public District Attorney’s Office in Sarajevo, and from 1979 until 2005 he worked with the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Assembly, BiH Federation Parliament and BiH Parliamentary Assembly as an expert assistant, Secretary of the ZUR (Law on Associated Labor) Commission, Chief of Cabinet of the President of the Assembly, Secretary of the Constitutional Commission in five terms, member of the Constitutional and Legislative-Legal Commission. From 1998 until 2005 he was the Secretary General of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Joint Service. He was elected to the Central Election Commission in June 2005.
He professionally attended to the constitutional and legislative system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was also a member of expert teams responsible for drafting the Constitution, laws and other documents, as well as the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He published numerous papers in scientific and professional journals and he was Editor-in-Chief in charge of the independent journal “Republika”.
