     The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has at its session held on January 15, 2009 verified the results of the election and awarding of mandates for the Sarajevo City Council and the City Council of East Sarajevo.

For Sarajevo City Council mandates are awarded as follows:
(1) From Municipal Council Stari Grad-Sarajevo the following persons were elected:: 

    1. Mustafa Resić                          Bosniak
    2. Željko Ler                                  Croat
    3. Tatjana Ljujić Mijatović      Serb
    4. Suljo Agić                                Bosniak
    5. Almedin Miladin                     Bosniak
    6. Harun Imamović                    Bosniak
    7. Gojer Gradimir                       Croat

Six (6) men and one (1) woman

(2) (2) From Municipal Council Center-Sarajevo the following persons were elected::
    1. Ferid Buljubašić                      Bosniak
    2. Igor Stojanović                        Serb
    3. Lidija Korać                             Croat
    4. Vera Brigić                              Serb
    5. Sead Srna                                Bosniak
    6. Muhamed Alaim                     Others

(3) (3) From Municipal Council Novo Sarajevo the following persons were elected:
