Actions taken under the court’s decision
Sarajevo, 08.06.2018 – Acting by the Decision of the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH, the BiH CEC has in a repeated procedure amended today the decision on certification of application of political party First Serb Democratic Party First SDS and accepted the use of the party’s name for electoral purposes, accepting the view of the Court of BiH that the name is not confusing in relation to the name of political party Serb Democratic Party.
Also acting by the Decision of the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH, the BiH CEC has today sent to the Serb Advanced Party the notice on shortcomings, giving two day deadline to remove the shortcomings. The shortcomings are insufficient number of valid signatures of support.
The BiH CEC has today amended the decision on certification of application of Croat Party of Rights BiH in the part relating to the level of authority for which the application is certified.
In the period June 10-19, certified political parties and independent candidates can submit to the BiH CEC applications for certification of coalitions and lists of independent candidates.
Overview of the certified political parties and independent candidates will be available to the public on the website of the BiH CEC at the beginning of next week.
