A joint workshop of the BiH CEC and the State Election Commission of Croatia
Sarajevo, 22.11.2017 – The BiH Central Election Commission is hosting a two-day workshop in the Center for Education in Sarajevo. The workshop is entitled “Exchange of experience in application of new technologies in electoral process and control of political party financing” and is result of continuous cooperation between the BiH CEC and the State Election Commission of the Republic of Croatia. Apart from the representatives of the two institutions, the workshop is also attended by representatives of the Agency for support to information systems and information technologies from the Republic of Croatia, Apis IT ltd.
During the workshops the BiH CEC and the SEC of Republic of Croatia will represent their information systems used for registration of candidates, processing of election results, etc. Special attention will be paid to the BiH CEC’s experience in the use of electronic application for delivery of financial reports of political parties since the SEC of Republic of Croatia is currently developing a similar application.
The goal of the workshop is to look at the work of two election commissions in administration of elections in order to improve and develop electoral procedures and processes.
