Early elections for the mayor of Glamoč municipality will be held on December 17
Sarajevo, October 26, 2017 – The BiH Central Election Commission has today passed a Decision on announcing and administering early elections for the mayor of Glamoč municipality.
The elections will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017.
Applications for certification of political parties and independent candidates to participate in the early elections are submitted to the BiH CEC until October 30, 2017. The deadline for registration of new by-mail voters ends on November 15, 2017. Other deadlines are also set forth in the Instruction on deadlines of election activities for administering early elections for the mayor of Glamoč municipality, which will be available to the public on the website of the BiH CEC, www.izbori.ba .
In line with the report on audit of financial reports of political parties for 2015 the BiH CEC has at today’s session initiated procedures to determine responsibility against 30 political parties due to reasonable suspicions of violation of the provisions of the Law on political party financing or the BiH Election Law.
The BiH CEC has today initiated procedure to determine responsibility against 68 elected officials, who are still in office or whose mandate has expired, due to the failure to submit asset declaration forms after the 2016 Local Elections (beginning or the end of mandate).
