REPEATED ELECTIONS IN STOLAC MUNICIPALITY BASIC INFORMATION
Sarajevo, February 17, 2017 – Repeated elections for the municipal mayor and municipal council in basic constituency Stolac will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Polling stations will be opened from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A voter can exercise his/her right to vote only by showing one of the valid BiH identification documents (ID cards, driving license, passport).
Number of voters in Stolac municipality is 11.404, whereof 10.012 regular voters, 1.321 voters registered outside BiH, 31 voter registered to vote in absentia and 40 voters registered to vote in person. A total of 24 polling stations, including 4 mobile teams, will be opened in Stolac municipality.
Two candidates are found on the ballot for the Stolac municipality mayor, while 68 candidates on behalf of 14 political subjects are founds on the ballot for Municipal Council Stolac.
On the Election Day 25 authorized officers of the BiH CEC will be present at all 24 polling stations and in the Municipal Election Commission Stolac and they will monitor and control the electoral process.
