CERTIFICATION OF CANDIDATES' LIST FOR HOUSE OF PEOPLES OF THE BIH FEDERATION PARLIAMENT

Sarajevo, December 11, 2014 – The BiH Central Election Commission completed verification of candidates' list for election of delegates to the House of Peoples of the BiH Federation Parliament from assemblies of Tuzla, West-Herzegovina, Zenica-Doboj, Goražde cantons and from Assembly of Canton 10.

From the Tuzla canton Assembly a total of 8 candidates’ list with 21 candidates were certified for the House of Peoples of the BiH Federation Parliament, from West-Herzegovina canton Assembly 6 candidates’ lists with 13 candidates, from Zenica-Doboj canton Assembly 9 candidates’ list with 26 candidates, from Goražde canton Assembly 6 candidates’ list with 11 candidates and from Canton 10 Assembly 5 candidates’ lists with 13 candidates.

The Decisions on certification of candidates’ list will be delivered to the competent cantonal assemblies in order to proceed with the procedure of electing delegates to the House of Peoples of the BiH Federation Parliament.

The BiH Central Election Commission rejected certification of candidates’ list of councillor Fejzić Edhem for election of delegates representing the “Others” from the Zenica-Doboj canton to the House of Peoples of the BiH Federation Parliament, because proposed candidate had declared himself/herself as a Bosniak at the 2012 Local Elections. Also certification of candidates’ list of councillor Omanović Muamer for election of Croat delegates to the House of Peoples of the BiH Federation Parliament from Goražde canton was rejected, because the proposed candidate had declared himself/herself as a Bosniak at the 2014 General Elections.

The BiH Central Election Commission has today rejected candidates’ list of councillor Frašto Emir for election of delegates representing the “Others” to the House of Peoples of the BiH Federation Parliament from Goražde canton Assembly, because according to the provisions of the BiH Election Law no delegates representing the “Others” are elected from this canton.

The BiH Central Election Commission has today adopted the information on reviewed financial reports of political parties for 2013. A total of 105 political parties had submitted the financial reports. With reference to the above-mentioned information it was concluded to request the competent courts to remove 13 political parties from the registry since all legal conditions have been met. Removal from the court registry will be requested for the following parties: Serb Movement of Reconstruction, Democratic Party of Srpska, Bihać Citizens’ Alternative, Croat Block BiH, Croat Party of rights of Posavina, People’s Party of Brčko District of BiH, Brčko democratic initiative – for better Brčko, Social Democratic Party of RS, Independent list of BiH, Ecological party E5-Green, People’s Bosniak Party, Bosnian Democratic Party and Party of penniless people.
