CANDIDATES’ LIST FOR AWARDING COMPENSATION MANDATES CERTIFIED
Sarajevo, August 18, 2014 – The BiH Central Election Commission has at today’s session certified 80 candidates’ list for awarding compensation mandates. The lists were certified after consideration was made of the report on verification process and hold 952 candidates. A total of 74 certified political subject submitted the lists by the end of the deadline and all meet the certification conditions.
The BiH CEC also adopted the decision on excerpt from the Central Voters Register for voting outside of BiH and this excerpt holds 42.008 voters. Total of 5096 persons do not meet the conditions to be registered in the excerpt from the CBS. Also the BiH CEC designated 5 polling stations for voting at the diplomatic-consular representation offices of BiH. The polling stations will be opened in the BiH Embassies Vienna and Berlin, and in the Consulates of BiH in Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt.
The BiH CEC certified today application of the Coalition “Alliance for the changes – Laktaši” to participate at the early elections for the mayor of Laktaši municipality. Two political parties make the coalition – SDS Serb Democratic Party and People’s Democratic Movement.
The BiH CEC would like to inform the public that the process of printing and packing the ballot started today. First the test ballots for training of polling station committees will be done, and then ballot papers to be sent to the out-of-country voters, and at the end all other ballot papers for the 2014 General Elections. The printing and packing of the ballot papers is done by the company Atlantik BB d.d. Banja Luka.
